Galden PFPE is a family of inert, high-performance, fluorinated fluids that offer good dielectric properties, exceptional chemical stability, and the capacity to operate at very low as well as elevated temperatures in aggressive conditions, making them useful in many industrial applications. Boiling points range from 55°C to 270 °C (131°F to 518°F). Typical operating temperatures range from -70°C to 290 °C (-94°F to 554°F).
Typical industries served by Galden® PFPE fluids are semiconductor manufacturing, electronic testing and cooling, carriers for fluorinated lubricants, solar, CPI, batteries, pharmaceutical and food. These fluids have exceptional properties such as:
· High thermal stability
· Broad range of operating temperatures
· Good dielectric properties
· Chemically inert
· Compatible with metals, plastics and elastomers
· No flash, fire or auto-ignition points
· Safety (FM approved 6930)
· Various grades of Galden HT 55, HT-80, HT-110, HT-135 DO2 are currently available
